| About the Anna Lindh Prize |
The Anna Lindh Memorial Fund supports primarily women and young people who work in the spirit of Anna Lindh.
They are people, who in their daily lives have the courage to fight indifference, prejudice, oppression and injustices in order to promote a good life for all people in an environment marked by respect for human rights.
The Anna Lindh Prize can go to an individual, organisation or project active in Sweden and/or abroad.
The Anna Lindh Prize
The Anna Lindh Memorial Fund will hand out an annual Anna Lindh Prize to an individual, organisation or project that works in the spirit of Anna Lindh.
The winner of the first Anna Lindh Prize was announced on Friday the 18th of June 2004, in connection to Anna Lindh’s birthday, June 19.
Other awards
In addition to the Anna Lindh Prize, the board of the Anna Lindh Memorial Fund may decide to hand out smaller awards. These awards would serve to encourage people, who in different ways work in the sprit of Anna Lindh, to carry on in their efforts.
Application procedures
The board of the Anna Lindh Memorial Fund nominates and decides upon candidates for the Anna Lindh Prize.
There is no formal application procedure for persons and organisations that wish to submit an application for financial support.
However, if you are engaged in something, which you believe the Anna Lindh Memorial Fund would consider supporting, please send an e-mail to our office: info@annalindhsminnesfond.se
Describe in a few words why you think the Anna Lindh Memorial Fund should notify your project. We will get in touch with you if further information is needed.
